This fabulous upper level two bedroom villa, decorated in soothing beach colors, overlooks a tranquil lagoon and features one of the most spacious (1218 square feet) floor plans on the Island for a two bedroom property.  Our home was uniquely designed to be able to provide lodging as two single accommodations for couples traveling to the beach during the fall or spring and to be rented to family’s looking for a spacious two bedroom destination in the summer.  Today we only market the villa as a two bedroom paradise, but what made it spacious enough to be attractive as single accommodations makes it a wonderful and private villa for families traveling to the island today. 

You are greeted when entering our home into an open living, dining, and kitchen area that were recently professionally decorated.  A set of large windows offers a beautiful view of the lagoon where you can often see a family of turtles or an alligator enjoying the Carolina afternoon sun.  Part of the renovation project last year was a new kitchen.  If you do not dine at one of the superb restaurants on the Island, our new kitchen will have everything you need for a home cooked meal.  All new appliances, unique kitchen design, and a ceramic tile floor are just a few of the features that make this kitchen one of a kind in Lagoon Villa.

Since the bedrooms were designed to accommodate a family or couple independent of the rest of the villa, you will find them spacious and comfortable.  Each bedroom features a private bath, dressing area, private balcony overlooking the lagoon and ample room to stretch out and enjoy some time off the beach.  The first bedroom features a king-size bed(K), with luxurious 350-count Egyptian cotton linens.  The second bedroom, which is of equal size to the first, features two queen-size beds(Q)(Q). Both bedrooms are furnished with luxurious bedding and were professionally decorated. 

Outside of our villa, you can enjoy the best that South Carolina has to offer regarding Island living.  You may choose to play the world famous Wild Dunes Links Golf Course that finishes along the Atlantic or the well known Harbor Golf Course that was constructed on an old World War II airfield that runs parallel to the Intracoastal water way.  Dining is offered at five different restaurants (based on season) within a five minute walk from our home.  Spa services are available at the Village Plaza where entertainment is provided nightly during the summers.  Lagoon Villa offers a swimming pool exclusively for use by the guest of the Lagoon Villa community.  Just behind our home you may relax on the fishing deck while you bait your hook for a chance at catching the big one.  Lagoon Villa 20 features the Wild Dunes Sportscard that allows your family to visit the tennis center, fitness center and Wild Dunes swim center.  Like the golf course and bike rentals, some daily fees are required to use the Sportcard faciltiies.  A children’s playground is within a short stroll of the Lagoon Villa community.  Most importantly, the beach can be easily accessed from our home by crossing Palmetto Drive and proceeding down a shaded path down to the waters edge where you will find a wide beach that often forms small tidal pools at low tide.  Children flock to these small pools where sea creatures can be seen or you can simply relax while building the largest sandcastle ever.
