Wild Dunes Resort Amenity Review
Wild Dunes Resort offers many outstanding amenities. These include The Wild Dunes Links Golf Course, The Harbor Golf Course, driving range, tennis center, Sand and Sea Spa, children’s recreational programs, 15 swimming pool complexes, playground, basketball courts, miles of bike trails, Grand Pavilion Boardwalk, bicycle rentals, beach chair rentals, marina (formally known as Wild Dunes Yacht Harbor), crabbing dock, fishing charters, kayak adventures, paddleboard rentals, wave runner rentals, Barrier Island Nature Tours, Village Shops, evening entertainment and a fitness facility. Dining options include Hudson’s Market, Sea Island Grill & Lounge, The Lettered Olive, The Grand Pavilion Bar & Café, Duney’s Ice Cream Shop, Sand Bar and Dunes Deli. At the marina dining options include Morgan’s Creek Grill and Saltworks Dockside Deli.
Being a resort community, made up of individual property owners associations and a private club, amenity access is limited based on the location of your accommodations as well as the property owner’s club membership.

Amenity access based on accommodation location:
•Swimming Pools. Most Wild Dunes accommodations are located within individual property owners associations. These communities include the Grand Pavilion, Seaside, Seagrove, Beach Club Villa, Mariner’s Walk, Summer House, Tidewater, Port O Call, Seascape, Ocean Club, Linkside Villa, Ocean Point and Fairway Dunes. These smaller communities, within the Resort, each feature a private swimming pool complex. Access is limited to the individual pool complexes to the guests renting within each community. For example, if you are renting a property within the Grand Pavilion community you may use the two oceanfront pools within the Grand Pavilion. You may not use the pool complex at the Boardwalk Inn, The Village at Wild Dunes or the Seagrove community even though they are adjacent to the Grand Pavilion.
•Shipwatch Community Playground. Only guests renting within Shipwatch may have access to the Shipwatch playground.
•Fairway Dunes Tennis Facility. Only guests renting within the Fairway Dunes community may have access to the Fairway Dunes Tennis Facility.
•Linkside Villa Tennis Facility. Only guests renting within the Linkside community may have access to the Linkside Tennis Facility.
•Ocean Point Hot Tub. Only guests renting within the Ocean Point community may have access to the hot tub in Ocean Point.
•The Grand Pavilion Boardwalk. Only guests renting within the Grand Pavilion or Seaside Communities may have unlimited access to the Grand Pavilion Boardwalk and the two pools featured within this facility.
Amenity Access Based on Wild Dunes Sportscard Membership (Daily Fees Apply):
•Fitness Room (Daily fee of $15 per person, 3-Day pass $40, 5-Day pass $50)
•Private rental of a Tennis Court at the Tennis Center ($20 per court hour)
•Access to the Wild Dunes Club Swimming Pool, located behind conference facility
(Complimentary to Sportscard Properties)
•Access to Grand Pavilion Complimentary after 4 pm with a Sportscard
•Access to Palm Cove Pool Complimentary after 3 pm with a Sportscard
•Access to Boardwalk Inn Pool Complimentary after 4 pm with a Sportscard
In order to use the Wild Dunes Club Swimming Pool, the hourly rental of tennis courts and the fitness room, you must be staying in a property that offers the Wild Dunes Sportscard Membership as an amenity. Properties that offer Sportscard Memberships are available at a higher rental rate than similar properties without Sportscard Membership. Sportscard Membership allow access to the recreational facilities where additional fees will be collected. An alternative to the fee based private club facilities at Wild Dunes Resort, is the City of Isle of Palms Recreation Center. This new facility offers both tennis and fitness facilities as well as a host of other amenities and is located on 28th Avenue.
