We are so proud of our Team at Beachside Vacations and what we have been able to accomplish in many of the best properties on Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island. We have been able to successfully manage these homes (and hopefully your home in the future) by following the principles Vicki Hollingsworth established when founding Beachside Vacations. Her belief was that bigger is not better, better is better.
Vicki purchased Beachside Real Estate in 2001 (after being the Broker In Charge at Wild Dunes Real Estate for several years), and it quickly grew to become the leader on the Isle Of Palms in regards to Real Estate. She was also an incredibly talented decorator and for her clients, she would redesign their new homes after purchase. Often her clients would turn over the rental management of their new homes to the large vacation management companies on the Island who would quickly allow the properties to deteriorate. This was incredibly frustrating to Vicki and her clients. Thus, she founded Beachside Vacations.
It was her goal to establish a vacation rental company whose priority was the property owner. Care of the properties was her primary concern, so she established practices unheard of in the vacation rental management industry to assure each home was maintained to the level as if she had just redecorated it. By focusing so much on the care of each property, she could build an outstanding cliental of repeat family rental guests who would come year after year.
Today, Jamie and Beau Hollingsworth (Vicki’s sons) lead the Beachside Team. The property owner and the care of their home continue to be our first and foremost concern. Our dedication to the property owner has become well known on the Island. This has allowed us to grow the company while always keeping the principles and practices established by Vicki Hollingsworth.
