If you’re on the lookout for fun amenities and gorgeous top-of-the world Atlantic Views, let #12 on 54th Avenue be your starting point! This amazing home truly is unique in design, almost as if it were a bow of a ship, pointing South West out to Sea! The second level living room is spectacular, featuring shiplap walls and ceiling, exposed beams and a line of windows, similar to the bridge of a ship. A balcony adjacent to the living room provides unbelievable ocean views.

Every detail of the home is special, for example the wood flooring is from an 80-year-old cotton mill that was recovered from the upstate. Sanded and polish, the wood flooring is gorgeous with nothing similar to be found on the island! Nearly every room of the home has ocean views with breath taking vistas from the upper level living area and crow’s nest (a special deck close to the roof top). From outstanding ocean views to unique finishing details, #12 on 54th has everything for the perfect family beach vacation. The unique design of the home starts with the kitchen, dining area located on the first level great room. Featuring Stainless Steel commercial appliances, granite countertops, and tons of room, the kitchen will kindle great meals, and wonderful conversation.

The lower level living space is beautiful with hardwood floors, shiplap walls, and direct access to a large deck with ocean views. Two bedrooms are located on the first level as well. Each features a private bath, hardwood floors and direct access to balconies. The second level features “the bridge” living area as well as three bedrooms, each with a private bath. Two of the bedrooms have direct access to a deck including the near roof top “crow’s nest”. The decks off of the master and the living room are screened in for your family to enjoy a mosquito free night!

Finally, #12 on 54th has direct access to a beach path where you will find the Atlantic less than 200 yards away! This stretch of the beach is great, with no public parking in the area making it very exclusive to the homes that are within the neighborhood. Rolling dunes and a wide beach lead you down to the refreshing waters of the Atlantic. Wild Dunes Resort is close by featuring two golf courses and seven different dining options. Best yet, Historic Charleston is only 25 minutes away!

This is a wonderful property. The house has amazing views and proximity to the beach. We wish the pool was heated and our only other disappointment was that one of the king beds was in the room with the bunk beds, which didnt work ideally with our family. If the other rooms had kings it would have been perfect. The kitchen is great and very well equipped. Great pantry storage and lots of sitting areas for our family members to spread out and work. It was all around a fabulous week in Isle of Palms. We can't wait to get back!!

We loved how clean the property was and loved the ice maker that made small ice. We used it the whole time. The top look out area was perfect for sunrise and the pool was great to have. The close access to the beach allowed you to go for a short time and go back to the house to enjoy the pool. The house was very large and spacious with plenty of TV and porch options.

Awesome beach house! Very quiet location on beach and easy 5 min drive to Harris Teeter and shops. 12 54th is better in person than the pics show! Stunning, spacious, CLEAN & BEAUTIFUL HOME! We chose this home so that we could entertain a few after-wedding gatherings and it worked out perfectly. Plenty of space on different decks and pool area along with the tremendous kitchen and sitting areas. Loved the screened porches on the south side of the home and open porches on the north side. 3 minute walk to the WIDE beach. Salt water pool was perfect place to relax after the beach:) and it provided shade on one side of pool by early afternoon for some relief from the sun. The furnishings were all tasteful and very well done. Loved the ice maker (small ice)- seems like a minor thing, but it was huge. Large fridge. Storage / pantry area a few steps from kitchen held paper products, cereal etc. Kitchen was a total WOW! Plenty of seating indoor/outdoor for dinners. Bedrooms and Bathrooms were wonderful - comfortable and clean. Bunk room is very large - only had 2 sleeping there but could do 6 easily - large bunks and great bathroom. We have been renting beach homes for >20 years (mostly in OBX)--- this is top of list. We would def stay here again and recommend. Only simple/minor suggestions would be to add some hooks or additional towel rack in bathrooms to hang wet towels, bathing suits and to have a set of plastic drink wear to use around the pool. We had a WONDERFUL stay at 12 54th and were very sad to leave!

Lovely home, in a great location of IOP! The beach was a three minute walk from the house and not at all crowded. The pool was lovely with lots of lounge chairs and both sun and shade options. The house was well equipped and fit our family of 7 adults and 3 kids very comfortably. We had an awesome and relaxing time!

The house exceeded our expectations! There was plenty of room for eight women, some even had their own room and bath. A deck off every bedroom! Privacy if we desired, and big, comfy spaces for the group to gather. A kitchen to die for. I was struck by the extreme cleanliness of every corner, baseboard, nook and cranny. Even the overhang above the decks and crows nest was perfectly clear of dirt and cobwebs, which you would expect at a beach house. The furnishings were comfortable and very tasteful.

Our family of nine thoroughly enjoyed the comforts of #12 54th Avenue. We would recommend it for any family of up to 16 people. The accommodations, location, and amenities far exceeded our expectations. The bedrooms and kitchen are set up great for a group. The two living areas and many decks are great for gathering and relaxing. The large pantry closet was helpful for keeping track of our things. The walk to the beach was a pleasant one and the early May time of year gave us a very private beach. The pool was a great addition to have, especially for the children. The views of the ocean from all around the house are amazing. The special add-ons of access to Wild Dunes facilities (an easy bike ride away) and the bike/chair/etc credit were great. When we arrived at the house our rental gear was waiting for us and they picked it up after we left. I can't say enough about the cleanliness of the house and the communication we had as they prepared it for us. It was great. We will be back!

As someone who travels often with family and friends, I can truthfully say this home, and renting with Beachside Vacations, was one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. The house was better than advertised and easily accommodated our family. The ocean views are phenomenal. The proximity to great dining, the beach, golf, shopping, and anything you might be looking for is nothing short of excellent. When we visit Charleston again in the future, there is no question we will try to reserve this home again and if it's not available we would have no issue in taking a recommendation from Beachside and using their services again. A+++++ experience all the way around!

I really enjoyed my stay at your beachside property. This was our second time staying at your property and enjoyed every minute of it and plan on attending again next year. The house was everything we thought and then some. I would highly recommend this property to other. Thank you for your prompt attention to the little hiccup, which was resolved expeditiously. Again, thank you

This house was fantastic. It had two living spaces, very large bedrooms, gorgeous kitchen, and balconies galore! The living rooms were great so that if someone was sleeping on one level, there was still plenty of space to gather on another floor. All the bedrooms were large and well appointed. All the beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were great with lots of rainfall shower heads! We didn't end up using the giant TVs in each room but they were there just in case. Having multiple balconies meant every single bedroom had access to a semi-private balcony (sometimes shared with another bedroom or one of the living rooms) and it allowed everyone to watch the sun come up. The crow's nest balcony is definitely the most fun to find and offers the best views. The house also had a great access point to the beach which was well-maintained and very private (the beach is a great place to watch the sunset, too!). Lastly, the kitchen was very well appointed and had all the pots, pans, and dishes needed to make all sorts of meals. This house was the exact dream we had while trying to book a large beach house and delivered on all aspects!
