Description

Only “Out of the Blue” at Port O Call B 304 can rejuvenate you and your family during your next vacation. Your family will feel outstanding after they take their first breath of the refreshing salt air as they overlook the ocean from one of the two oceanfront decks offered at “Out of the Blue”. The first level deck features a spacious screen porch with comfortable chaise lounge chairs and cocktail table. The second level deck is access by a spiral staircase that takes you to a wonderful roof top vista with panoramic views of the Sea. Both the living room and master bedroom have sliding doors taking you out to the first level screen porch ensuring you have beautiful views throughout the condominium. Another wonderful aspect of “Out of the Blue” is that it is corner unit. This allows “Out of the Blue” to have extra light from the additional windows in the living and kitchen area.

The interior of “Out of the Blue” features a single bedroom with a relaxing king sized bed. Adjacent to the bedroom is a full bathroom. The living area is the perfect retreat after a full day on beach and features bright beach colors. A large television flat panel television is an additional feature that is ideal for catching the game between walks on the beach. When it is time to put together a low country feast featuring the day’s catch from one of the many local seafood stores, the well equipped kitchen is just what the gourmet cook in the family will need.

Best of all, the beach is just fantastic in front of “Out of the Blue”. The beach is wide and clean at this location and the waves break along a sandbar just to the North. It frames a perfect setting for sandcastle building, bocce ball, a game of volleyball or racing down a wave on your boogie board. The Port O Call condominium complex also features a large private pool, just for guests staying in this incredible location.

My mother and I took our yearly mother/daughter trip to IOP this year and had the very best time!! The condo was everything we hoped that it would be! You can see the ocean from almost every window in the place! There were even fresh flowers on the table when we arrived! While we were there, it was my mom's anniversary from being diagnosed with cancer. She's a 17 year survivor and I wanted to do a little something special for her. I called the office and ask if they could pick up and deliver something to the room and they actually got flowers and a balloon and delivered it to her!!! Most places would not have done that so I was very grateful!! Wild Dunes is a gated community so we basically had the beach to ourselves all week! It's nothing like the main, public beach and that's what we loved!! The beach is huge and a great place to lay out in the sun or take a walk for shells!! We saw wildlife and marine life that we were not expecting but loved it!! We saw several starfish on the beach and it was the very first starfish (alive) we had ever seen in person!! We went to Acme Lowcountry Kitchen the first night. We actually found it by mistake bc it was open later than a lot in IOP but I'm SO glad we did bc it was by far the best place I've ever eaten!! Be sure and go check out Charleston bc it's so close and somewhere that everyone needs to visit at least once!! So much history and neat things to do there! There's a little gelato place in Sullivan's Island and they have the best gelato that I've ever eaten!! Pages Okra Grill in Mt. Pleasant has amazing sweet potato pancakes with chicken!! I could go on and on about places to try but there are so many, I'm sure none are bad choices!! I highly recommend this condo and if we ever go back top IOP, we will be staying there for sure!!

304B Port of Call was better than the pictures! It was a very clean property right on the beach with beautiful views inside the gated community of Wild Dunes. The weather the second week of March was great beach walking weather - with cooler temperatures and intermittent sun. My husband was able to walk the entire beachfront of Isle of Palms and most of the beach of Sullivan's Island. We would recommend the restaurants, Morgan's Creek Grill and the Long Island Café on the Isle of Palms and the Obstinate Daughter and Poe's on Sullivan's Island - all great places for seafood, especially fried oysters. Wild Dunes has good biking paths as well.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Port O Call 304B. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The only improvement I can suggest is to get thicker cushions for the chaise lounge chairs, they’re to thin making the chairs hard and becoming uncomfortable. The property is well maintained and we had no issues. Beachside vacations communicated well all aspects of our stay from start to finish. I will use their services again be it this unit or another.

This was our second year on the property and in the same suite. It was a wonderful time. We'd made big plans to visit any number of different locations, as we did last year. But once you arrive and hit the beach and pool, you really aren't anxious to leave the premises for anything except maybe to dine. So this was our second year of going to the Charleston area and ending up doing very little sightseeing. It's just too nice at Wild Dunes.Visit Acme Lowcountry Kitchen for any meal, just a 5 minute drive from Wild Dunes. You'll thank me later.

Place was nice and right on the beach. Very prompt attention from maintenance with the 2 small items we had issues with (toilet running all the time and the toaster broken). Items were fixed within 2 hours of our call. Very comfortable furniture and will be looking forward to our future stays here. We love this property very much.

Port O Call 304 B, with the "bird's nest" at the top for evening ocean viewing was lovely. The condo was clean and in excellent condition; it had all the essentials for feeling like we were at home. We have stayed at three Wild Dunes locations and this complex offers the best views and the largest pool.

Port O Call 304B - Awesome on the Beach location ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The property location is unbeatable. Gated community with well maintained gardens and golf course. The unit could use a little upgrading but overall it had everything a traveler needs. Had a maintenance request the first day which was addressed immediately. The ocean view is everything you could expect, from sunrise to the moon on the ocean at night. The beach changed with each cycle of the tide and seashell collecting was right at the waterline. Although we are not swimmers, the water in May was warm and many adventured into the ocean. The water is actually very shallow in front of the property, waist deep for at least 20 yards at high tide.Shopping and restaurants are within easy commute from the property and Charleston, SC was just a short drive over the Ravenal Bridge. Only during end of work day did we experience any heavy traffic as we were traveling into the city for dinner. Lots of things to do locally and in Charleston area.

The condo is right on the beach. The views are fabulous! Couldn't get better especially for the price. The overall condition of port of call development was good. Pool maintained well. Dealing with beachside rentals was excellent! The condo was cute and comfortable, however some items need to be repaired. Small things, like baseboards, screened porch maintenance and some ceiling repairs. Homeowner has done a good job decorating with a very beach feel. This condo is so on the beach that you may have trouble sleeping because of the waves. Not complaining and definitely would recommend this condo for the price. I would love to stay again. Homeowner might consider a table and chairs in the screened in porch. The view is so fabulous you want to be outside.

Location, Location, Location. My wife and I loved this truly oceanfront location. If the property was any closer, it would have been in the ocean. The back of the condo faced the ocean, so from every window in the back or of the side condo there are fantastic ocean views. And.............the front row seat to the morning sunrises were amazing. I enjoyed spending my birthday weekend at this rental property. The Condo was clean and well maintained. We also loved the fact that the condo included a clothes washer and dryer.

Beachside Vacations and Port O'Call make the absolute best combination for a vacation ever! 304-B has the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on away from home. The view is exquisite. During the full moon the tide is out so far you can find dreamy shells. Folks were picking up beautiful, unbroken sand dollars and conch shells. I walked north around the point and saw the dolphin feeding. They came within 10 feet of me and rolled over to say hello :).
