Newly Renovated, Winter 2018!

Bring back memories of the 1920’s in this classic designed home in Wild Dunes Resort. Images of timeless movies like Key Largo will be one of your first thoughts as you drive up to this beautiful home located in the Grand Pavilion at Wild Dunes Resort. Grand Pavilion 74 will welcome you with its tin roof and large deck that runs the length of the home featuring numerous rocking chairs perfect for collecting your memories after a day on the beach.

Once you enter this wonderful home the wood paneling emphasizes the classic design of the home. The living room is comfortable for the entire family and features a large flat screen television and is anchored by a standalone fireplace. The dining room is designed to accommodate your entire family. The large dining room table features seating for ten, perfect for sharing timeless memories of your many adventures on the Island. The kitchen is perfect for cooking large family meals and features French doors opening to the back screen porch.

The back screen porch is the feature most enjoyed by visitors to Grand Pavilion 74. Nestled under ancient oaks, the back screen porch is where you will find tranquility. Either resting in the hammock, or enjoying a board game at the table, the back porch will provide your family an experience unique to the Isle of Palms. If the children are interesting in a game of football or kicking the soccer ball, the need to only travel a few feet from the back porch where they will find the Seaside Park. The large manicured lawn located at the Seaside Park is perfect for playing a game or enjoying a picnic lunch.

When the day is over, your family will be able to enjoy the comfort of the four bedrooms featured at Grand Pavilion 74. Each bedroom features a flat screen television and plenty of room to unpack your gear for the week. The lower level of the home features three bedrooms. The lower level master bedroom has a king bed and private bath. The remaining bedrooms downstairs share a bathroom and each feature a king bed. The upper level bedroom features a huge kids room featuring 6 twin beds and two full beds as well as a sitting area and a private bathroom. Upper bedrooms comes complete with two sets of bunks with twin tops and double-sized bottoms, both with twin trundle beds and an additional twin bed with trundle. Larger than many one bedroom condominiums, the upper level bedroom square footage makes Grand Pavilion 74 unique when compared to any other properties within the Resort.

Beach access is convenient from Grand Pavilion 74. Located just beyond the start of the driveway, the beach access path is a paved sidewalk that brings your family under an assortment of great oak trees and palmettos as it leads them to the wild dunes protecting the Island from the Atlantic. If the children would like sometime in a swimming pool, Grand Pavilion 74 offers your family complimentary access to the two oceanfront swimming pools located on the Grand Pavilion Boardwalk. A beach café, bar, ice cream shop and surf shop are all located adjacent to the swimming pools on the Boardwalk. Three restaurants, the Harbor Golf Course, Wild Dunes Tennis Center, and the Sand and Sea Spa are all located within a short walk of Grand Pavilion 74.

The Isle of Palms, like all barrier islands, has a dynamic beach near the inlet that separates the island from Dewees Island. The ebb and flow of the changing tides, through the inlet, creates and moves sand bars just off shore. These sandbars will channel waves between them, resulting in the massive buildup of sand along portions of the island where other areas may develop temporary erosional hot spots. These hot spots will feature a sand beach throughout the day outside an hour or so before and after high tide. Where a dry sand beach may be limited in these few areas at high tide, walking either direction will lead to an area where the sandbars have created an expansive beach to enjoy at any tide.

Features Wild Dunes Sports Card! Please see Beachside Home Page, Area Information, Wild Dunes Resort Amenities for details.

Relive the grandeur of 1920’s architecture while making memories for the future at Grand Pavilion 74.

The property was great! We honestly were not sure what to expect with a hurricane blowing through 24 hours prior but it looked great. :)

July 2019 was our first blended family vacation & we chose to stay at 74 Grand Pavilion in Isle of Palms, SC. The pictures didn’t do the house justice as it was far more grand than they showed. Groceries were the only thing we needed to purchase to complete our perfect vacation as the house was so well equipped with everything else. It felt very homey & comfortable here & we plan to return. Dealing with Beachside Vacations for our reservations was very pleasant. The staff was very helpful & informative when I had questions. Check-in was extremely easy & the instructions were very nicely detailed. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation & nicer place to stay!! I highly recommend both Beachside Vacation Rentals & the 74 Grand Pavilion home away from home!!!

Our whole family enjoyed our stay at 74 Grand Pavilion! It is spacious, quiet, private feeling and is a very easy walk to the beach and pool. Most evenings were spent on the screened porch, which is very lovely. And, compared to every other house/condo rental I've done anywhere, the kitchen is very well-stocked in terms of appliances, dishes, gadgets, etc.Don't pass this one up!

Great house for four generations to gather with well stocked kitchen and table for ten! The upstairs “bunk room” was awesome for kids. The rocking chair front porch and huge screened in porch across the back were wonderful. Quiet area just a short walk or bike ride to the beach or pool. Everything to make our stay memorable!

This house is perfect for a large family. The screened porch was a favorite gathering place. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for a rental property, and the house is ideally located for convenient beach access as well as all of the Grand Pavilion amenities.

Perfect location in Wild Dunes! Loved the quiet street and beach path steps away! Fully stocked kitchen and comfy beds! Loved the fans and great air conditioning! The 2nd floor with the 6 bunks were awesome for the teens. They went right upstairs and left us alone! The porches were so nice to hang out in the am/pm. The screened porch in the back was delightful to have a pest free meal! The proximity to The Boardwalk Hotel is a plus. Great house, we'd rent again for sure!

The house was beautiful and comfortable. It had nearly perfect access directly to the beach as well as a small park the kids could run around in. The kitchen was stocked very well with plenty of dishes and cookware. The beds were comfortable. We had a great time and would gladly return.

Beachside vacations were very informative and provided us with all the details and information needed before our stay and upon arrival. We were originally booked for the week that Irma arrived. Beachside vacations kept us very informed as to the conditions on the island and how it would affect our stay. Since there was not a mandatory evacuation we could not get our money back but Beachside Vacation let us rebook at no additional charge. Thank you Beachside Vacations! The house was perfect, clean and plenty of room. Our 3 granddaughters loved having their own bedroom and large bathroom. Be sure to look in the mirrors in the bathroom upstairs. The 3 sets of bunk beds were a hit with the girls. The 2 large porches were great. We would definitely stay there again. We didn’t want to leave!

The house was very nice. The best part was the location. A path to the beach and a short walk to the Pavilion. The only inconvenience we had was moving the cars back and forth out of the driveway.

The front desk staff were very helpful whenever we had questions or wanted recommendations. I thought the sand pail/shovel was a very clever idea for putting the info in regarding your stay/rental. What a great marketing tool. My children are both grown now, but we still loved the pail and used it on our walks on the beach. Thanks for such wonderful service. We will be contacting you again when we head back to that area!

If we had a reason to be in the area and pets were permitted, we would stay in the property again. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to vacation in SC. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and we would recommend that house to anyone planning to visit there. The staff was helpful after we arrived.
