“The Sea Shell” is a beachside vacation discovery waiting for you and your family to find at #12 on 42nd Avenue on the Isle of Palms. Located just four homes away from the beach (a two minute walk) “The Sea Shell” is a warm and inviting cottage by the sea. Featuring four bedrooms, two full baths, this 1,645 square foot cottage has everything your family is looking for in a beach vacation. One of the best features of “The Sea Shell” is it’s outdoor living space that includes two open decks and two spacious screen porches. A gas grill is located on one of the open decks with dining for eight on the screen porch just off of the kitchen. Rocking chairs, Adirondack chairs, benches and an outdoor sofa provide seating for everyone on each of the four outdoor spaces where the whisper of the ocean can be heard.

The living room is open and warm, and is the prefect gathering point for your entire family. Wood planks line the walls to give “The Sea Shell” a true cottage feel that is so unique to the Island. The dining area features seating for six, and opens to the newly renovated kitchen that has plenty of room for all the chefs of the house to work. “The Sea Shell” is highlighted by four bedrooms that share two full baths. Three bedrooms feature a queen bed, and the fourth two twin beds providing comfortable bedding for eight. “The Sea Shell” has a large garage area, which is fantastic for storing all of your beach equipment. This is also where you will find a quiet space to do your laundry and shower off from the beach. It also provides enough space if you would like to bring a small boat to the beach to explore the tidal creeks and harbor that makes the Isle of Palms so unique.

The Isle of Palms Marina is only three blocks away. The beach, located just four homes away and less than a two minute walk is terrific at “The Sea Shell”. 42nd Avenue beach access is extra wide, and even has a special surface to accommodate wheel chairs and emergency vehicles. This makes it especially easy for your family to walk out to the beach if you have small children in wagons, or if you use a cart for the beach toys.

We went there -with my family- to relax before the start of the school year. Excellent property. Even thought is a little bit old, it is very well maintained, spacious and fully equipped. The 2 screened porches were wonderful. We always had breakfast in one of them. The location is excellent. You can walk to the beach and it is only a 5 minute the drive to supermarket/restaurants. The property manager was great. When we arrived, there was no power due to a localized power outage caused by a storm. They even offered us and alternative location for that first night and then checked to make sure that we were fine. The also helped us with beach and baby gear rental services.I highly recommend this property.

This is our second time staying at 12 42nd Avenue. It’s in a great location being a short 2 minute walk to the beach access on 42nd Avenue. House is great! Very clean. Has everything you need. Love the 2 screened in porches.

The house was perfect for our needs - my family felt right at home and enjoyed the casual look and feel of the house. The large eating area and kitchen were great for all our meals so we could be together. The downstairs shower was great for rinsing off after a day at the beach. The short walk to the beach was easy for my grandchildren and made it nice for going back for lunch and naps.

We had great time this year, the house was exactly like it was decribed on the website. Very Clean, very well equipped, very spacious for 6 adults and two three year olds, a perfect location, the price was good, weather was perfect, we could not have had better week. Beachside Vacations was very imformative, kept us informed about our Check-In time and Check-Out procedures very helpful, so thanks for a good Vacation. Hope to work with you in the future.

We have used many different house rentals. Your "extra" were outstanding! The idea of a keyless code worked great. Multiple times someone mentioned how nice it was. And the soap and lotion were a nice touch. Fast pass check in was great too!
